Flames rebound in style
This time, the Flames made it stick.
Forty-eight hours after letting a victory over the Colorado Avalanche squirt from their mitts, the Flames took care of those very same Avs Saturday night at the Pengrowth Saddledome, recording a very tidy 5-2 National Hockey League win.
"It was a much better game from us," said Calgary netminder Miikka Kiprusoff, who had a far more breathable evening than Thursday, when he faced 35 shots and was burned for six goals. "We played much smarter in our own end."
