Given the fact the Colorado Avalanche were playing for their postseason lives last night against the Calgary Flames, it was reasonable to think this was going to be a playoff-style game. You know the kind -- low-scoring with lots of tight checking and top-notch goaltending.

And, of course, that's exactly what the Avs and Flames didn't serve up.
